To keep planted areas in good condition we follow a cycle of REVIEW, RENEW, REVIVE, throughout the village, and where possible we REDUCE and REPURPOSE. Our ongoing review of the Bee and Butterfly bed led to major rejuvenation including removal of old plants, weeding, thinning and pruning, mulching with well -rotted horse manure, and addition of new pollen and nectar rich plants.  Some of the plants removed were transplanted to other areas or split and sold in our plant sale.
