Schools and Churches

Chipping has three churches and two primary schools.  Both schools have their own gardens and encourage children and the wider school community to become involved in a range of growing activities.

St Mary’s School grounds have been adapted for growing fruit and vegetables for school and community use. The aim is to inspire the children, parents and the community to grow their own produce using organic methods.

St Mary’s Primary School helped to plant snowdrop, crocus and daffodil bulbs at the War Memorial.
