Near the entrance to the St Mary's Community Wildlife Garden, Chipping in Bloom has a shed, greenhouse and allotment containing raised beds and planters. We use these to grow on plants for use around the village and for sale at community events, as well as growing vegetables.

The Allotment also contains our 'Moon Garden' which has been specifically planted for night time pollinators especially moths.The planting colour pallet is primarily pale, white, lilac, pale pink however many of the plants reflect moonlight and appear to glow in the dark.Plants evolved to attract moths have a heavier perfume that carries in the cooler night time air this enables moths to find their food nectar even when dark.

Our planting selection includes: Lilac, Allium, Evening Primrose, Eryngium, Phlox, Stocks and Lychnis.
